Mattern Construction is a dream come true for owner George Mattern. Founded in 1987 in Canterbury, Connecticut, George started the company from his home office. However, within a year, the business had grown beyond his expectations and had to be moved to a larger space in Preston, Connecticut. In 2000, Mattern Construction established itself in Baltic, Connecticut and has been serving the Eastern Connecticut region and beyond ever since.
